MagiNet Completes Acquisition of U.S.-Based Percipia; Expands Ability to Meet Growing Demand for Hospitality VoIP Worldwide

Singapore-based MagiNet Pte Ltd. announced that it has completed the acquisition of Percipia, Inc., based in Columbus, Ohio. This strategic addition to its portfolio of integrated technology solutions for the hospitality industry equips the company to meet the growing demand from hotels, resorts, casinos and condotels for single-source, comprehensive solutions featuring video, high-speed internet, voice and more, all in a converged network environment.

In particular, the company expects to develop market share in the booming lodging industry in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. In Asia Pacific alone, developers have over 900 new hotels going up in 2007 and 2008 with more than a quarter-million new rooms.
